Our ideal candidate is a recent graduate from law school classes 2018-2022 with experience in environmental litigation matters at the federal level. In this role, you will be responsible for handling environmental litigation matters with a focus on civil cases. We are looking for someone with government-side enforcement experience related to environmental or similar issues, as well as a strong ability to analyze complex and technical regulatory schemes. A general understanding of enforcement approaches used by federal agencies and/or the Department of Justice is also required.
As a Lateral Associate, you will have the opportunity to work directly with clients and will be expected to manage and complete projects independently with minimal supervision. This role requires a self-starter with strong academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills. You will also have the opportunity to further develop your understanding of environmental and administrative law concepts.
