Job Title: Junior/Mid-Level Compensation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide sophisticated legal advice to private and public companies on executive compensation, employee benefits, and other incentive and compensation arrangements.
- Advise clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions (M&As), spin-offs, divestitures, initial public offerings (IPOs), redomiciles, and other transactions.
- Assist multinational companies with international and domestic labor and employment issues, including expansion into or exit from new jurisdictions and managing a global workforce.
- Defend clients in litigation in both state and federal courts.
- Lead cross-border and multi-disciplinary employment projects, offering commercially practical support for global operations.
- Collaborate with in-house counsel and managers with global responsibilities to navigate the international legal landscape.
- Translate complex international employment law issues for clients to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
Education and Experience Information:
- Two to five years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Major law firm experience is a plus.
- Candidates with a strong background in global tax or corporate law will be considered.
- Must be admitted and a member in good standing of the Bar in the state of employment.
Salary Information:
- This position is bonus-eligible and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) based on the number of hours worked.
- The US base compensation for this position is expected to be $235,000 to $365,000 annually.
- Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
