Job Title: Development & Coaching Manager – Business Professionals

Job Responsibilities:
The Development & Coaching Manager – Business Professionals at the law firm is tasked with the responsibility of coaching and training business professionals. This role involves creating and maintaining an internal coaching program, collaborating with subject matter experts to design and evaluate learning experiences, and developing engaging training materials such as presentations, modules, workshops, and e-learning modules. The manager conducts DiSC assessments to enhance workplace teamwork, communication, and productivity. They work alongside the Associate Director of Development & Coaching to translate learning needs into professional development opportunities and leverage adult learning principles for innovative learning experiences.

Additional responsibilities include creating content for onboarding training and development, establishing evaluation frameworks to measure the impact of initiatives, maintaining a learning calendar, and serving as a resource to department leaders for department-specific training. The manager also manages vendor relationships, ensures compliance with industry regulations, conducts new hire development onboarding, and performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications after orientation at the law firm.
- Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours and travel as required.
- Over 5 years of direct applicable experience in fields such as professional development, training, coaching, leadership development, or HR/employee relations.
- More than 2 years of direct experience in professional/executive coaching.
- Eligibility for Senior designation with over 7 years of applicable experience and 2+ years of management experience in relevant roles.
- Experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing successful learning strategies and programs.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and various training methods.
- Strong program management skills.

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- ICF Certified Coach.
- Experienced DiSC Trainer.
- Experience consulting with senior leaders to translate business needs into learning and development solutions.
- Supervisory experience.

- Ability to analyze survey and evaluation data for reports and recommendations.

Salary Information:
The expected annual pay range for this full-time position, based on a 40-hour workweek, is $110,000 - $155,000. The final offer amount will depend on geographic location, experience, and skillset. Senior-level candidates may be eligible for a higher salary range based on experience.
