Responsibilities:
- Manage an inventory of complex D&O and E&O claims, including coverage determinations, investigations, and resolution strategies.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by driving continuous improvements and meeting quality and cycle time standards.
- Verify coverage and set timely and adequate reserves.
- Lead focused investigations to determine compensability, liability, and covered damages.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and execute a claim resolution strategy.
- Establish and manage significant claim budgets.
- Identify and address subrogation/salvage opportunities and potential fraud occurrences.
- Maintain subject matter expertise and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and develop less experienced Claim Professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced negotiation experience.
- Professional designations are highly encouraged.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License.
- Strong knowledge of specialty insurance industry, products, policy language, and claim practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Analytical mindset with critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation:
- Salary range of $97,000 to $189,000 annually in certain jurisdictions.
- Competitive benefits package.
