Internship Duties:
- Outreach with residents of Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District
- Constituent services
- Administrative tasks
- Writing letters
- Assisting with media clips
- Assisting with constituent casework and interacting with federal agencies
- District-focused events
Internship Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to speak diplomatically with constituents of varying opinions
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Consistent and professional appearance and demeanor
- Nebraska ties preferred, but not required

The internship program offers a unique opportunity to work in both the Washington, . and Omaha offices and gain hands-on experience in constituent services, administrative tasks, writing letters, and assisting with media clips. Interns may also have the opportunity to assist with constituent casework and district-focused events.
The internship is unpaid, but academic credit is available for students. Additionally, paid internships in the . office are available. We are looking for dedicated, hardworking, and passionate individuals to join our team and help us serve the people of Nebraska's Second Congressional District.
Internship sessions are available throughout the year, including spring, summer, and fall. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and priority is given to Nebraskans and students attending a Nebraska University/College. However, all students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
