You will be accountable for the accurate and efficient auditing of electronically submitted legal fee and expense invoices by both your team and yourself. Your role also involves developing, documenting, and maintaining effective methodologies for training new LBACOE invoice analysts. You will be responsible for training new analysts on approved legal billing review techniques and platforms, assessing their training needs regularly, and providing ongoing training as necessary. Additionally, you will create and implement quality assurance methodologies, subject to management approval, and conduct ongoing monitoring/auditing of analyst work to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising LBACOE invoice analysts to ensure efficient and accurate review of legal invoice entries.
- Coordinating and distributing legal bill assignments to team members and verifying the accuracy of UTBMS task codes applied to invoice line items.
- Fostering a culture of empowerment, engagement, and innovation within the LBACOE.
- Monitoring daily and long-term LBA delivery production based on customer schedules.
- Developing and conducting quality assurance on a regular basis to train and coach analysts on legal billing review techniques, customer-specific service levels, and ELM billing platforms.
- Simplifying legal service agreements to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Tracking and analyzing data on reviewer performance metrics to provide recommendations to management and customers for improved customer experience.
- Conducting team events and promoting best operational practices to enhance employee engagement.

Education and Experience Information:
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required, with a Juris Doctor or MBA preferred.

Experience:
- At least 1 year of prior supervisory experience, preferably in a legal billing or claims environment.
- Over 5 years of experience in the legal industry, with at least 3 years as an attorney, paralegal, legal spend analyst, legal bill auditor, legal bill reviewer, or billing coordinator for law firms.
- Ability to obtain and deliver information to internal and external parties orally and in written form, and apply legal rules and guidelines to a series of information.
- Familiarity with e-billing systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.
- Prior experience training new staff, preferably in a legal setting, with strong coaching and employee development skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, including team productivity and quality tracking.
- Computer skills with the ability to learn electronic legal bill submission and auditing software.
- Excellent understanding of the English language, including grammar, syntax, style, and proofreading skills.
- Organizational skills to manage and schedule efficient review of legal invoices.
