Litigation Paralegal The candidate will conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments. Will organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices. Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources. Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties. Summarize and index deposition transcripts, medical, employment, and technical design and construction documents in preparation for trial.
The candidate should have proven working experience as a litigation paralegal. Must have Paralegal associates degree or other relevant certification. Must have applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc. Must be proficient in Word and Excel. Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask/prioritize. Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail is required.
