Patent Agent – Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
- Work within the Patents and Innovations Group at the law firm, focusing on counseling and prosecution.
- Specialize in intellectual property (IP) with a background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials sciences, artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), or related disciplines.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in the life sciences, either through industry or educational experiences.
Education and Experience Information:
- Advanced degrees in relevant engineering or scientific disciplines are required.
- Prior experience as a patent agent, or within a law firm or industry setting, is considered a plus.
Salary Information:
- The position offers a salary range of $145,000 to $210,000, based on step level.
- Discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
