Job Title: Legal Internship, Fall

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the investigation and prosecution of a wide range of criminal cases within the Criminal Bureau.
- Work on cases involving public corruption, financial fraud, organized crime, major narcotic offenses, appellate issues, insurance and unemployment fraud, cyber and electronic crimes, and more.
- Support the Victim Witness Services, which includes advocating for victims, witnesses, and their families associated with cases under the jurisdiction of the Attorney General’s Office.
- Provide information, support, and advocacy services in accordance with the Victim Bill of Rights (. ).
- Participate in legal research, drafting legal documents, and other tasks as assigned by the division to which the intern is assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- Enrollment in a law school is required; individuals who have completed law school are not eligible.
- The internship program is designed specifically for students currently enrolled in law school.
- Legal interns are accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on the needs of the individual divisions within the office.

Salary Information:
- Internship positions are unpaid.

- Legal internships are offered for the fall and spring semesters.
- Interns are typically assigned to a particular division within the Attorney General’s Office.
- Candidates interested in a legal internship must submit a resume and cover letter stating their areas of interest and availability to the Legal Intern Coordinator.

- Divisions will determine their ability to accommodate requests and will notify applicants directly if selected for an interview.
