Job Title: Entry Level Accounting/ Appeals Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize deducted invoice notifications using Microsoft Outlook and Excel, ensuring all client appeals deadlines are met.
- Research reduced invoices and submit written appeal responses on behalf of the law firm through various legal e-billing platforms.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to gather necessary documentation for quality appeal submissions.
- Calculate and post write-offs for reduced invoices and unrecovered deductions.
- Track and monitor recovered and unrecovered amounts following appeals, identifying trends and reporting key findings to management.
- Assist the accounting department with other tasks as needed, such as payment applications or data entry.

Education and Experience Information:
- No prior experience is required for this position as full training is provided.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and critical thinking skills are necessary.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines is required.
- The candidate must be self-motivated and a highly organized team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills is required.

Salary Information:
- Starting salary range is between $37,000 and $39,000 per year.
- This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday.
