Job Title: Senior Manager Accounts Payable
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager Accounts Payable is entrusted with overseeing the complete accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. The responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the accounts payable function, which encompasses invoice processing, payment runs, and addressing vendor inquiries. This role requires leading, mentoring, and developing a team of specialists and supervisors to ensure compliance with company policies, SOX controls, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Manager collaborates with Procurement, Treasury, and FP&A to optimize cash flow and vendor terms and is responsible for driving automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Additional responsibilities include preparing and analyzing AP metrics and reports for senior leadership, managing the AP budget, AP contracts, and AP invoice payments. The Senior Manager is also tasked with developing a long-term technology roadmap for the Accounts Payable function and leading implementation efforts for new systems and improvements to existing platforms. Professional development, leadership skills building, and staying informed about industry current events are also part of the role.
Education and Experience Information:
Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required for this position.
Preferred Education: A Master's Degree (MBA or related field) is preferred.
Certificates: CPA is preferred.
Minimum Years of Experience: Candidates should have 7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
Desired Skills:
Candidates for this position should possess proficiency in ERP systems (., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and AP automation tools. A strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and vendor management best practices is essential. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present to senior leadership. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset are also necessary. Proven experience in project management, including leading system implementations or upgrades, is important. The candidate should have a strong track record of cross-departmental collaboration, especially with Procurement, IT, and Finance teams. The ability to design and interpret dashboards for operational and financial reporting is necessary, along with proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables, etc.). Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, coupled with deep expertise in financial systems and vendor management, are crucial.
Salary Information:
The expected hiring range for this position is $116,199 - $161,299 per year, depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. The compensation offered will also depend on other factors, including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. A comprehensive package of benefits is offered, including medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k).

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, with walking and standing required only occasionally.
Work Environment: The position may offer a hybrid work arrangement of remote and in-office work, determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and subject to modification at the firm’s discretion in the future.
