Job Title: Manager, Global Strategies Group
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager within the Global Strategies Group, you will be responsible for providing strategic tax consulting services to multinational clients, focusing on the tax implications of their international operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with implementing specific international tax structures and processes.
- Overseeing complex tax computation projects for clients across various industries.
- Conducting research and preparing materials for consulting projects related to tax planning considerations.
- Facilitating brainstorming sessions, both internally and with clients, including non-tax stakeholders such as treasury, accounting, and legal departments.
- Providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance to develop and motivate the engagement team.
- Supervising and supporting the technical development of tax consultants and senior consultants.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field is required.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work, preferably with a focus on international taxation.
- Experience managing senior-level client relationships.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Accreditations:
Candidates must have one of the following active accreditations:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible, candidates should have one of the following:
- Licensed attorney (or foreign equivalent)
- Enrolled Agent (or foreign equivalent)
- Various technology certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional, Certified SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager, Certified SAFe Architect, Certified SAFe Agile Software Engineer, and others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Big 4 firms, public accounting, or consulting experience.
- Strong research and verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience participating in strategic planning initiatives.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong executive presence.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The current estimated range is $111,090 to $235,170. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the program's rules, which depend on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
