**Key Duties:**

**Education and Experience Information:**
**Education:**
- A Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Must be an active member of the bar in any . jurisdiction.
**Experience:**
- At least one year of . legal or other relevant experience is required.
- Preferred candidates will have strong academic credentials and superior legal research and writing skills.
- Quick analytical ability and the capacity to articulate critical case-related issues are essential.
- High-volume courtroom experience, including first-chair jury trials, is preferred.

**Additional Information:**
- The position is located in Corpus Christi, Texas, and requires the candidate to reside in the district to which they are appointed or within 25 miles thereof.
- The position is a term appointment not to exceed March 31, 2028, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position without further competition.
- Travel may be required, averaging one to five nights per month.
