Defense Sales Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Ethical compliance with the SC Rules of Professional Conduct.
- Lead client interactions by managing inbound and outbound communications with prospective clients through phone, email, and in-person meetings, while maintaining a professional, confident, and empathetic tone.
- Convert qualified leads at a high percentage by effectively guiding prospects through the decision-making process to secure signed representation.
- Evaluate and position the law firm's value by quickly assessing prospective cases and communicating how the law firm can meet the client’s needs, emphasizing strengths, expertise, and outcomes.
- Drive onboarding with urgency by completing necessary paperwork and initial file setup swiftly to finalize the client relationship.
- Maintain ownership of pending leads by ensuring timely and strategic follow-up until resolution.
- Accurately secure fees and enter client information into Litify.
- Follow instructions and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Attend required morning and monthly meetings.
- Perform other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales-focused role (inbound or outbound) with a proven ability to guide leads to decision-making and close opportunities is required.
- Experience in the legal industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and persuasive verbal and writing skills are necessary.
- Ability to confidently lead conversations, address objections, and secure commitment is essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- CRM experience is preferred, with Litify or a comparable platform being a plus.
Salary Information:
- Compensation range is $58,400 - $87,600 per year.

Requirements:
- Work hours are from 8:30AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday.
- The position is hybrid, based in Columbia, SC.
