Job Title: International Trade Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The International Trade Associate will support all aspects of the International Trade practice at the law firm. Key responsibilities include advising clients on the complex laws and regulations governing the export and re-export of goods and technology from the . The associate will conduct internal compliance audits and investigations to help companies identify potential violations of export controls and economic sanctions programs. They will assess related liabilities and develop mitigating and remedial measures and strategies. Additionally, the associate will be involved in export classification and licensing, as well as compliance and enforcement under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Education and Experience Information:
The candidate must have two years of experience in . export controls, . sanctions, trade remedies, trade policy, or customs and import controls. Stellar academic credentials are required, along with private sector and/or government experience in international trade control laws.
