Pay Range: $175,000 - $200,000 USD
Job Title:
Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Of Counsel
Experience Information:
8+ years of defense litigation experience
Experience in coverage/coverage litigation matters
Experience in drafting coverage opinions in one or more insurance lines
Experience in third-party or first-party claims
Coverage analysis and writing experience
Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions
Experience cross-examining plaintiffs and other fact witnesses preferred
Trial experience a plus
Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices
- Investigate claims and draft coverage opinion letters
- Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on a variety of subjects
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
