The Managing Paralegal (Board and Proxy Teams) will be responsible for managing a team of legal professionals in various locations in North America and Hyderabad, India. Responsibilities:

Train, supervise, and allocate work to a team of legal professionals in support of department attorneys.
Monitor workflow within the group to ensure deadlines are met efficiently and effectively.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior legal colleagues and engage with attorneys to ensure team performance.
Assist with hiring, training, and coaching of team members.
Manage capacity and workflow and step in to complete work as needed.
Perform senior paralegal duties in addition to management responsibilities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience and/or experience in the finance industry.
Experience leading a team project, with direct team management preferred.
Working knowledge of filing requirements for registered investment companies and SEC Form N-1A.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership skills and desire to coach and develop team members.
Paralegal certification is a plus.
