The Court Documents Clerk III (Intermediate Court of Appeals) position with the Hawai`i State Judiciary is a highly responsible and confidential role that supports the Intermediate Court of Appeals (ICA) judges and staff attorneys. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of court documents and filings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal procedures and documents, as well as experience in a clerical or administrative support role. The salary for this position depends on qualifications and ranges from $4,766 to $5,800 per month. This is a full-time position located in Honolulu, Oahu.

Experience: Three years of specialized experience in the preparation and processing of legal papers and documents used in court proceedings, with at least two years at the Judicial Clerk I level or higher. Two years of general clerical work experience is also required.

Summary of Duties:
- Provide confidential administrative and clerical support to ICA judges and staff attorneys
- Review, analyze, and process appellate court documents in a timely manner
- Track multiple drafts and orders and file orders with the appellate clerk's office
- Maintain a database of motions, orders, and sanctions
- Ensure compliance with court rules and orders
- Respond to inquiries and requests for information from lawyers and the public
- Other duties as required
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of specialized experience in legal document preparation and processing, with at least two years at the Judicial Clerk I level or higher
- Two years of general clerical work experience
- Typing skills of 40 net words per minute or the ability to use typewriters, computers, and word processing software
