Tax Manager - Investment Management - Private Wealth (East Region City Locations)

- Tax Manager position available in 22 locations across the United States
- Competitive salary range from $84,980 to $193,440, depending on experience and qualifications
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, with 2-3 days per week in-person co-location required
- Up to 25% travel required, based on client needs and industry/sector served
- 5+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 3 years in investment management
- Must have one of the following accreditations: CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field required
- Strong knowledge of individual, fiduciary, partnership, and closely-held corporation taxation
- Experience in reviewing partnership and/or trust documents
- Ability to manage projects, including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM preferred
- Prior experience in Big 4 or large CPA firm preferred
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting a plus

Position Summary

- Strategic and leadership role with extensive knowledge across multiple areas of taxation
- Deliver compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, and closely-held businesses
- Provide solutions to complex tax issues and identify tax planning opportunities
- Lead client meetings and train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced tax professionals
- Involved in marketplace eminence building and pursuits

- Provides comprehensive, independent, and objective wealth transfer planning advice

Qualifications

Required

- Ability to work in a hybrid model and travel up to 25%, based on client needs and industry/sector served
- 5+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 3 years in investment management
