Job Title:
Associate Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Design and create legal documents such as wills, revocable living trusts, property agreements, irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts, insurance trusts, private foundations, family limited partnerships, and limited liability companies. Additionally, prepare durable powers of attorney for financial and healthcare matters.
- Advise clients on techniques for achieving wealth transfers between generations, including consulting business owners on selecting the legal structure for their business and preparing buy/sell agreements and addressing management succession issues.
- Provide counsel to trustees, executors, and beneficiaries on matters such as interpreting documents, tax issues (including preparing gift and estate tax returns), and resolving disagreements between beneficiaries and fiduciaries.
- Assist clients with probate administration and post-death administration of living trusts.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
- Licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.
