Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Handle moderate to high exposure liability cases in civil litigation from inception to conclusion through dismissal, settlement, or trial within New York.
- Resolve claims expeditiously and efficiently by working with adjusters and clients.
- Meet with clients and claims professionals to resolve cases cost-effectively.
- Conduct pre-trials, mediations, arbitrations, or any other required legal activities.
- Independently conduct trials as needed.
- Advise claim professionals on the evaluations of legal files.
- Provide legal advice to clients and other claim professionals as required.
- Negotiate settlements as directed.
- Attend round tables.

Education and Experience Information:
- Experience in automobile and general liability matters, with a preference for jury trial experience.
- New York Labor Law experience is preferred but not required.
- Admission to the New York bar is required; New Jersey bar admission is preferred but not mandatory.
- A valid driver's license, acceptable MVR, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
- Admission to the federal bar is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a team environment with other attorneys, adjusters, claims professionals, and support staff.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Lexis/Westlaw, and daily management of e-mail and calendar.
