The Law Firm of Stoll Keenon Ogden is seeking an experienced Associate-Litigation to join their team in Lexington, KY or Louisville, KY. This is a full-time position with a minimum of two to four years of experience practicing law in Business or Tort Litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and interest in complex business and tort litigation and possess exceptional organizational, writing, and legal drafting skills. The Associate-Litigation will support other attorneys and Members of the Firm in delivering high-level legal assistance to clients and will have the opportunity to work on complex legal matters with appropriate supervision. The role also requires maintaining and enhancing existing client relationships and assisting in generating new client relationships through research, written work product, and presentations.

- Conduct legal research and analysis

- Maintain and enhance client relationships
- Assist in generating new client relationships
- Maintain and expand legal skills and expertise
- Meet billable and non-billable hour requirements
- Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Office and e-discovery
- Understand Appellate brief rules and formatting
- Prepare deposition summaries and document indices
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
- Follow all personnel policies and procedures of the Firm
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong background and interest in complex business and tort litigation
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Exceptional writing and legal drafting skills
- Willingness to travel, including possible overnight stays
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
