Job Title: Conflicts Analyst II - Intake Compliance (West Coast)

Job Responsibilities:
The Conflicts Analyst II is responsible for assisting the law firm and its attorneys with compliance and risk management related to potential new business. The primary duties include:

- Working closely with attorneys and other members of the department to identify potential ethical and business conflicts of interest presented by new business.
- Performing comprehensive research, analysis, and documentation of potential conflicts of interest associated with new business intake.
- Preparing well-organized and detailed conflict of interest reports and presenting information directly to law firm partners in a clear, concise manner while highlighting critical issues.
- Reviewing and evaluating new business intake forms for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws, firm policies, and business requirements.
- Reviewing draft engagement letters and assisting with maintaining engagement letter records.
- Ensuring timely and efficient processing of new business requests.
- Collaborating with the law firm’s Office of the General Counsel, department leadership, and other Intake Compliance team members regarding potential conflicts of interest and other risk and compliance matters.
- Employing and enforcing risk management processes and procedures.
- Coordinating with department management, Office of the General Counsel, and Risk Management team regarding firm-wide training on new business intake and conflicts processes and procedures.
- Contributing to new business conflicts and intake process, procedure, and technology improvements to enhance efficiency and manage risk.
- Implementing departmental projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Identifying and supporting all customer service needs.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience is required.
- 3-5 years of conflicts analyst experience, preferably at a large law firm.
- Working knowledge of Intapp products is preferred.
- The candidate should possess excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills.
- The role requires a problem-solver with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
- The candidate should be team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of firm attorneys and staff is necessary.
- The candidate should have the ability to manage change within a dynamic and innovative organization while maintaining a commitment to the firm’s core values.
- A strong interest and ability to learn new technologies as necessary is important.

Salary Information:
The expected salary range for this position is as follows:
- California Major Markets*: $64,000 - $103,000
- New York City: $64,000 - $103,000
- National: $61,000 - $87,000

*California Major Markets include San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Santa Monica. All other California locations fall within the National range.

The law firm is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to its attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the law firm’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, and geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by firm and individual performance.
