Responsibilities:
• Advise and counsel clients on real estate matters such as purchase and sales transactions, leasing, zoning, development, and financing
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to real estate transactions
• Review and analyze title examinations, surveys, and other documents related to real estate
• Coordinate and conduct closings for real estate transactions
• Conduct research and analysis on land use, zoning, and environmental issues
• Keep up-to-date with changes in real estate laws and regulations
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in real estate law
• Must be admitted to practice in South Carolina
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
