Job Title: Mass Tort Litigation Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
The Mass Tort Litigation Paralegal is responsible for supporting a national team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff within the law firm. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with all aspects of case management in complex mass tort matters, which encompasses intake, discovery processes, and trial preparation.
- Maintaining and organizing databases and case files using in-house and third-party litigation support platforms.
- Coordinating and tracking document productions, medical record retrievals, and case deadlines.
- Reviewing and organizing deposition transcripts and discovery materials.
- Supporting attorneys with deposition and court event preparation, including historical research, exhibits, and trial binders.

Education and Experience Information:
- A bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university is required.
- Prior paralegal experience in a litigation environment is highly desired, especially experience with claim intake and case management.
- Experience with mass tort, product liability, or complex litigation is considered a plus.
- A Paralegal certificate from a program approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) or from an accredited college or university is welcomed but not mandatory.
- For positions in California, compliance with California legislation (AB 1761) is required, which includes specific qualifications such as a certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal program, relevant law-related work experience, or completion of a paralegal program with a minimum of 24 semester units in law-related courses.
- Familiarity with court rules and e-filing procedures in both state and federal courts is expected.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Mass Tort Litigation Paralegal role varies by location and is determined during the interview process based on experience, expertise, and market factors. The salary ranges are as follows:
- Los Angeles, CA: $64, - $103,
- San Francisco, CA: $67, - $107,
- Seattle, WA: $64, - $103,
- Chicago, IL: $59, - $94,
- Washington, .: $62, - $99,
- New York, NY: $67, - $107,

The total compensation package may include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in various benefit plans, such as a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, among others. Employees are also entitled to paid holidays, personal days, vacation days, sick leave, bereavement leave, parental leave, and pregnancy disability leave, as applicable.
