Job Title: Partnership Tax SALT Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead large projects and innovate processes to maintain operational excellence.
- Interact with clients at a senior level to ensure project success.
- Perform state and local tax return reviews and finalize compliance tasks.
- Coordinate with other departments to prepare, review, and analyze reports necessary for tax return preparation.
- Communicate effectively to secure overall success of the projects.
- Direct the team through complex and uncertain situations, maintaining composure and demonstrating leadership.
- Validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives, and act on client feedback.
- Conduct tax research and solve complex issues.
- Work with financial statements and journal entries, understanding financial systems and business processes.
- Model and reinforce professional and technical standards, including the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience is necessary.
- A Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- CPA, EA, or Member of the Bar is preferred.
- Experience in performing state and local tax return reviews and monitoring tax compliance requirements is advantageous.
- Experience in coordinating with other departments for tax preparation and innovating through new and existing technologies is valued.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $89,000 - $315,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range is dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
