Job Title: Trial Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation and other legal assignments in accordance with guidelines established by the law firm.
- Prepare and summarize reports for proceedings.
- Develop trial strategy and case development.
- Attend litigation events including trials, mediations, depositions, and hearings.
- Maintain ownership of cases from inception to conclusion.
- Collaborate with support staff and fellow attorneys.
- Engage in career development opportunities within the firm.
- Adhere to hybrid work arrangements, balancing office presence and virtual work.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Juris Doctor (.) degree from an American Bar Association (.) accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Must have an active law license to practice in the state of Florida and be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Florida.
- Minimum of 2+ years of civil courtroom/trial experience preferred, specifically handling automobile injury lawsuits. Experience in personal injury, workers compensation, and medical malpractice is also considered.
- Criminal jury trial experience may be considered.
- Required skills include jury trial, mediation, and deposition experience, file ownership, and knowledge of local and state discovery rules, trial procedures, and applicable substantive law commensurate with level of experience.
- Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting are essential.
- Proficiency in technology/software, including the ability to work with cases in electronic form, and working knowledge of a case management system and a document storage system.

Salary Information:
- Potential starting salary range: $104, - $160,. The starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience. The high end of the range is limited to applicants with significant relevant experience.
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 24% of base salary.

- Attorneys are not permitted to handle any legal business outside of the law firm, other than authorized and pro bono work. Candidates must cease all outside practice and suit involvement before joining.
- Travel via personal or commercial transportation to job-related activities is an essential function.
- Irregular hours may be required.
