Job Title: Legal Knowledge Management Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Knowledge Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting Knowledge Management (KM) Attorneys and the Legal Knowledge Management group in enhancing client service by developing, implementing, and maintaining knowledge-sharing systems. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting with the management of the Legal KM project portfolio and implementing Legal KM solutions and tools to improve knowledge management across the law firm.
- Collaborating with the Legal KM group and other internal law firm resources to support initiatives, ongoing projects, and programs while tracking usage and quality standards for KM tools.
- Aiding in the implementation phase of solutions developed by the KM group and working with the Legal KM team, KM managers, Project Managers, and IT Training to ensure appropriate support models are in place once tools are in production.
- Communicating with stakeholders to update them on project status and providing ongoing support for assigned tasks.
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the law firm’s KM tools, including content maintenance, database organization and maintenance, data visualization, firm experience records management, and oversight of knowledge libraries and matter tracking.
- Promoting the use of Legal KM tools and resources and assisting with the implementation of communication strategies for legal KM priorities.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Legal Knowledge Management Coordinator position should possess the following qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and re-prioritizing work as needed to meet business demands.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- A customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use technology, database, presentation, and spreadsheet software.
- Experience with Knowledge Management is desirable, as is familiarity with data management systems and basic skills with data visualization tools.
- Ability to work with professional staff in a multi-office environment.
- A background in business, law, or equivalent experience is desirable.

Salary Information:

The anticipated pay range for the Legal Knowledge Management Coordinator role is as follows, based on geographic location:

- Boston: $55,400 - $80,300
- New York: $58,000 - $84,100

Additionally, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual salary offered will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
