Qualifications:
Applicant should have a background in:
Private and public merger and acquisition transactions, both in structuring and financing
General corporate counseling of for profit and not-for-profit entities, including software licensing and commercial and vendor contracting
Working with closely-held and family businesses
Negotiating high dollar technology, commercial and vendor contracts
Business structuring and governance
Required Competencies:
Ability to procure, cultivate and sustain a client base while working in a multi-office, team-based environment
Excellent organizational, time management and intrapersonal and communication skills
Must be admitted and in good standing with the NYS Bar
Experience:
Experience managing matters independently with limited supervision
Experience in counseling higher education institutions; health care law; emerging, closely-held, or family-owned businesses; or credit unions is a plus
Compensation:
