Summary:

The Legal Aid Society's Civil Practice is seeking a Staff Attorney for the Housing Group Advocacy Project to work with tenant associations, community-based organizations, government officials, and pro bono attorneys to prevent harassment and displacement of tenants, assist with obtaining repairs and essential services, and enforce and expand tenant rights in New York City's five boroughs. This position requires admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to practice law, excellent written and oral advocacy skills, and experience or interest in housing and housing-related issues faced by low-income communities. The salary range for this role is $83,844 - $147,907 and includes generous benefits.
