Job Title: Real Estate Finance Counsel at ArentFox Schiff
Job Summary:
ArentFox Schiff is seeking a Counsel to join its Real Estate Finance group in either New York or Washington, DC. This position requires significant experience in commercial real estate finance and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and transactions. The ideal candidate will be motivated, have strong drafting and communication skills, and work well with colleagues and clients.
Responsibilities:
• Provide legal counsel and support for commercial real estate finance transactions
• Represent both lenders and borrowers in a variety of transactions, including senior mortgage loans, construction loans, and preferred debt and equity investments
• Work with a diverse range of clients, including commercial banks, private debt funds, and insurance companies
• First chair transactions and manage deals with the support of a talented team
• Draft and review legal documents and communicate with clients and colleagues
Qualifications:
• Significant experience in commercial real estate finance
• Strong drafting and communication skills
• Ability to work well with colleagues and clients
• Desire to first chair transactions and manage deals
Salary Information:
• Base salary range: $330,000-$400,000 per year
• Actual salary will depend on factors such as experience, education, and qualifications
• Comprehensive bonus system with opportunities for bonuses ranging from $10,000-$200,000+ based on hours, business generation, and performance
