Job Title:
Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for trial.
- Conduct legal research using various resources, including online databases and legal publications.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence under attorney supervision.
- Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, preparing witness files, and assisting with trial preparation tasks.
- Manage and organize case files, both physical and electronic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other relevant parties, maintaining professional and effective communication.
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.
- Occasional travel to local courts to file documents, retrieve records, and attend court proceedings.
- Assist with the preparation of discovery responses and requests.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing mail, and ordering office supplies.
- Assist with billing and other financial tasks as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Education & Work Experience:
- Associate's degree in paralegal studies or a related field, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program and/or prior paralegal work experience is preferred.

Skills:
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software.
- Experience with Clio Legal Software preferred but not required.
- Strong secretarial skills, including typing, proofreading, and data entry.
- Ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, other paralegals, legal assistants, and outside organizations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Sharp, compassionate, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research using online databases (., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and other resources.
- Ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
- Ability to manage and organize case files, deadlines, and other important information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other parties.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.

Salary Information:
- The position offers a competitive salary starting from $50, per year.
- Full benefits package, vacation and sick time, and paid holidays are included.

- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
