Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator at the law firm will play a crucial role in maintaining the firm's vendor master catalog, ensuring that vendor information is accurate and complete. This position involves developing and implementing procedures for vendor onboarding and maintenance across global operations to ensure consistency and compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the designated . vendor onboarding and maintenance coordinator.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill vendor registration requirements and verification procedures.
- Engaging in the development and enforcement of vendor registration controls, policies, and procedures.
- Ensuring the preparation and filing of 1099 forms by the IRS reporting deadlines.
- Resolving Accounts Payable-related service requests based on their impact and urgency.
- Developing vendor compliance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service levels against industry benchmarks.
- Identifying service improvements and training opportunities for both internal and external Accounts Payable service providers.
- Supporting the documentation of Accounts Payable processes and procedures.
- Performing special projects or other duties as requested.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this position.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience in Accounts Payable is preferred.
- Experience in a law firm or other professional services firm is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the requirements for filing 1099 forms is preferred.
- Knowledge of backup withholding rules is beneficial.
- The candidate should possess high attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a strong client service orientation are essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- The ability to organize time and prioritize workload effectively is necessary.
- The ability to perform tasks with accuracy and competence is crucial.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Accounts Payable Coordinator position varies based on location:
- San Francisco salary range: $63,000 to $80,000
- Los Angeles salary range: $60,000 to $75,000
- Denver salary range: $56,000 to $73,000
Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The salary range is specifically for positions performed in these cities/states and may vary based on factors such as local market data and ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
