Patent Paralegal The candidate will be preparing and filing new . Patent applications, Response to Missing Parts or Missing Requirements, Information Disclosure Statements, Office Action Responses and Issue fee payments electronically to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Will be assisting in quality assurance review for patent filings by noting and referring any errors or omissions to attorneys. Preparing and filing new PCT applications and associated responses. Coordinate international filings with foreign law firms and other foreign entities. Manage daily docket of due dates regarding Office Actions, statutory limits for submissions and Provisional expirations. Corresponding with clients by answering phones and responding to emails regarding order status, the patent prosecution process and new client intake process. Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to case particulars or database anomalies. Communicate with the USPTO, attorneys, paralegals and staff about filing and prosecution matters. Should have 1 year of experience in patents or patent prosecution.
