Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a program designed to provide an accurate sense of what it's like to be a full-time associate at the law firm.
- Work on a variety of client projects, including drafting memos, agreements, and briefs that will be reviewed by clients and judges.
- Attend client meetings, closings, court conferences, depositions, and trials.
- Engage in pro bono work with the opportunity to handle a pro bono project.
- Participate in legal skills workshops to refine and sharpen legal writing and drafting skills, covering essential skills for attorneys such as contract drafting and negotiation, legal and research memoranda, bluebooking, and marketing writing skills.
- Receive practical training and candid feedback from experienced Summer Associate Program leadership, mentors, and the Writing Advisor Program.
- Participate in community and social events, including cooking classes, museum tours, axe-throwing, escape rooms, and dinners with attorneys and partners.
- Attend meetings with public figures and judges who are friends and alumni of the law firm.
- Engage in volunteer opportunities such as prepping meals for individuals living with illnesses and participating in a beach cleanup day.
- Participate in a multi-day orientation with all students from across the firm to meet colleagues, experience legal training sessions, and meet many of the firm’s attorneys.

Education and Experience Information:
