Job Overview: A law firm seeks a litigation attorney with 6 years of experience to join its business litigation practice in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, and internal investigations. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases, manage junior team members, and collaborate with a high-performing legal team.


Duties: 

  • Handle a variety of high-stakes business litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes and shareholder conflicts.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and business professionals within the practice group.
  • Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, motions, and other litigation materials.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive case strategies, including preparation for trials and hearings.
  • Coordinate with clients and legal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, strategic legal solutions.
  • Effectively manage multiple project-based assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements: 

  • 6 years of significant business litigation experience in a comparable law firm environment.
  • Strong ability to oversee and collaborate with junior team members.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to handle a variety of assignments.
  • Track record of producing intelligent, thoughtful, and high-quality legal work.

Education: 

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from a top-tier law school with a high level of academic achievement.

Certifications: 

  • Licensed to practice law in NE or eligible for immediate reciprocity.

Skills: 

  • Exceptional analytical, research, and writing abilities.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills for supervising junior team members.
  • Ability to strategize and execute effective legal solutions for complex cases.
