Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a family law attorney.
- Training and experience in mediation and/or collaborative law.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Passion for helping families find amicable solutions to their disputes.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting initial consultations with potential clients and assessing their needs.
- Representing clients in mediation and/or collaborative law proceedings.
- Drafting legal documents and agreements.
- Negotiating settlements and advocating for clients' best interests.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Collaborating with other attorneys and professionals to find creative solutions for clients.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in family law and alternative dispute resolution practices.
