# Paralegal & Legal Internships

Law firms are looking for interns who are creative, multi-taskers with technical and communication skills, and the determination and grit to problem solve and take initiative. ## Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a legal intern will vary across legal and marketing work. These may include:

- Assembling new client materials
- Setting up case files
- Case filing
- Managing and summarizing medical records
- Filing applications
- Filing mail
- Preparing trial materials
- Scanning and closing settled case files
- Communicating with the Social Security Administration
- Stocking supplies
- Reviewing and ensuring payment of client records
- Blog writing
- Dropping off materials to doctor’s offices
- Engaging in social media campaigns

## Qualifications

To be a successful legal intern, you must have:

- Outstanding performance in your academic program
