Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft various pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
- Request, follow up, and obtain medical records/bills related to client treatment.
- Verify and document account balances with medical providers.
- Review and summarize medical records.
- Assist with trial preparation, including jury instructions, trial exhibits, subpoenas, etc.
- Manage court dockets and deadlines.
- Draft settlement calculations and agreements.
- Perform other administrative duties such as organizing case files, calendaring hearings, and filing.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law is required.
- South Carolina Litigation Paralegal experience is preferred.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
