Job Title: Director, B2B Fintech Partnerships
Job Responsibilities:
The Director, B2B Fintech Partnerships is tasked with identifying, developing, and securing significant partnership opportunities to enhance payment volume in B2B payment flows. This role demands a seasoned sales and business development professional with expertise in commercial B2B fintechs. The responsibilities include:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Deliver and achieve key sales performance metrics.
- Actively engage with clients and prospects to meet meeting targets.
- Exhibit excellent pipeline management skills via MS Dynamics.
- Provide analysis and insight on market trends, regulations, and competitive analysis to facilitate business growth and cross-selling opportunities.
- Lead the development, negotiation, and finalization of proposals by collaborating with internal stakeholders and building relationships with strategic partner executives.
- Execution:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure partner solutions align with the company's strategy and client goals.
- Proactively identify and resolve complex issues that impact business management and relationships.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives that arise during program development with partners.
- Communication:
- Educate the organization on market developments and partner opportunities.
- Report to and interact with senior management regarding partnership progress.
- Foster productive relationships at all levels with clients and within the company.
- Segment Expertise:
- Act as a thought leader in the growth of B2B payments.
- Continuously assess the market landscape to identify and develop partnership or acquisition opportunities.
- Support the team in developing the overall B2B fintech strategy.
- Identify strategic opportunities through a strong understanding of segments and customer business needs, leveraging solutions across all product platforms.
Education and Experience Information:
- Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree, or 6+ years with a PhD.
- Minimum of 5 years of business experience with related sales and management experience.
- Experience in B2B Payments or financial services industry preferred.
- Proven track record in planning, managing, and closing complex, competitive sales efforts.
- Experience in managing deals from negotiation to closing and through delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to implement strategic initiatives, policies, and operational decisions.
- Strong strategic thinking and thought leadership skills.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to communicate and navigate through multiple disciplines and organizational groups.
- Experience in managing executive-level communications and delivering presentations.
- Ability to work in a complex and ambiguous environment and influence senior management.
- Executive presence with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and flexible.
- Ability to influence and work within a matrixed environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to perform various roles across the team.
Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for this position is $189,500 to $275,000 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments, if applicable. Salary may vary based on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Additional Information:
- Work Hours: Varies based on department needs.
- Travel Requirements: Requires travel 5-10% of the time.
