Position Summary

Law Firm is currently seeking a highly experienced Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Partner to join its Tax practice group. This position is open to candidates in any of our Florida locations. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience practicing in a law firm setting. The role will primarily focus on handling Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits matters, including defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans. The successful candidate must possess excellent drafting and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work within tight deadlines. Candidates must also be a member of the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming one. A portable book of business is highly desirable. The compensation package for this position is extremely competitive.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits matters
- Draft and review legal documents related to defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Meet strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits
- Collaborate with other attorneys and departments within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients

Qualifications

- Minimum 8 years of experience practicing in a law firm setting
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits matters
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming a member
- Portable book of business is highly preferred
