Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate and thorough searches in the firm's Conflicts of Interest System for new business, investments, and hiring.
- Provide written results to attorneys, legal assistants, and professional staff.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Conflicts System.
- Manage the organization of the Conflicts group.
- Test and learn new Conflicts applications and systems.
- Use Firm-issued mobile device and video conferencing tools for remote work.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and maintain confidentiality.
- Prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration within the team.
- Adjust hours and work as needed to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Conflicts of Interest research.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of . and foreign company names and histories.
- Ability to use third-party database systems.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software programs.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work as needed.
