Job Title: eDiscovery Project Manager
Job Responsibilities:
The eDiscovery Project Manager serves as an internal consultant offering hands-on support to practice groups requiring eDiscovery assistance. This role is crucial in the development, implementation, and support of cost-efficient solutions throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Consulting with attorneys, legal teams, and clients to identify best practices and establish processes for the identification, preservation, collection, analysis, processing, review, and presentation of discovery materials (EDRM lifecycle).
- Collaborating with the Director of Legal & Practice Support and Senior Manager of Practice Support to identify efficiency opportunities and design solutions, including creating job aids, assessing software solutions, developing intranet content, and designing trainings.
- Maintaining up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), associated technology solutions, and workflows for each phase.
- Consulting with attorneys and staff to solve complex problems using firm software or innovative solutions.
- Translating written and oral customer requirements into a project plan and workflow design to enhance legal team efficiencies and productivity.
- Creating, updating, and maintaining databases/projects in practice support applications such as RelativityOne, Opus 2, Agility Blue, and other eDiscovery hosted solutions.
- Ensuring the creation and maintenance of case documentation, including media logs, production logs, search/batching criteria, etc.
- Providing general software and case-specific training on end-user-facing Practice Support tools, and offering ongoing coaching and training support.
- Utilizing Relativity’s suite of Analytics tools, including structured and text analytics, Active Learning, and Review Center, creating complex searches, and preparing and validating productions.
- Developing and maintaining procedures and documentation for proper case management and knowledge management practices.
- Offering trial support services, including establishing relationships with trial graphics, presentation, and equipment vendors, and preparing site setup recommendations for trial activities.
- Coordinating projects with team members, internal customers, external clients, and vendors, assigning tasks and deadlines.
- Maintaining relationships with external vendors of practice support services, managing projects and deadlines, and communicating requirements.
- Participating in internal projects such as software rollouts, training plan redesigns, workflow and process standardization in coordination with management.
- Meeting department expectations regarding email communication during and outside of work hours by connecting a personal mobile device to the firm's network.
Education and Experience:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, along with at least 5+ years of relevant professional experience. A Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification is preferred. Extensive experience with large and complex litigation and investigation matters is necessary, with experience responding to government inquiries/subpoenas considered a plus.
Salary Information:
The base salary for this position is expected to range from $140,000 to $165,000 annually. The actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors consistent with applicable law.

The role is eligible for the law firm's flexible work program and operates in a professional office environment. It requires the use of standard office equipment and may involve multitasking in a fast-paced work environment. Some physical demands include lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and occasionally moving about to access office equipment.
