Position Summary:
As the Tax Legal Business Associate Manager in the Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) team at Deloitte, you will play a key role in helping legal departments transform their processes and increase efficiencies through technology. You will work with a team to provide an integrated approach to technology implementations, automation, data management, and analytics. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and help position Deloitte as a leader in legal technology.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
- Optimize legal processes and leverage technology to align with clients' specific requirements and goals
- Identify, design, and leverage technology and innovative solutions for the legal department's needs
- Provide training on processes and various technologies
- Understand and articulate the broader practice and Deloitte overall
- Counsel and coach team members, participate in staffing and retention activities
- Develop and maintain contacts, organize and lead pursuit teams, contribute to business development
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with legal and/or technology solutions
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with one or more of the following: Agiloft, SirionOne, Icertis, document extraction tools, data wrangling tools, visualization/BI tools, DocuSign CLM, Salesforce configuration
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average
- Active accreditation in at least one of the following: CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, PMP, CCM, CFA, PMI-ACP, CCMP, CBAP, procurement/legal procurement, SAS® Certified Data Scientist, Paralegal Certification with a 4-year degree, Six Sigma, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, Certified Systems Engineering Professional, Information Systems Security Architecture Professional
- Preferred: Advanced degree in relevant field, experience with template rationalization and harmonization, guide or playbook creation, and contracting processes

With a multi-disciplinary approach, the TTC team combines legal, tax technical, and technology skillsets to provide clients with efficient solutions. The team specializes in tax and has the necessary skills and experience to help clients with successful ERP implementations.
