Job Title: Immigration Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file petitions and applications for family-based immigration cases, including but not limited to forms such as I-130, I-485, and N-400.
- Support attorneys with removal defense cases, which include asylum applications, cancellation of removal, waivers, and motions to reopen.
- Manage client communications, gather necessary documentation, and maintain organized case files.
- Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including cover letters, affidavits, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor important deadlines and maintain effective case tracking systems to ensure timely case management.
- Liaise with government agencies such as the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), National Visa Center (NVC), and Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in immigration law is required.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
