Job Title: E-Billing Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
The E-Billing Specialist is tasked with the processing and submission of monthly invoices for electronically billed clients through third-party vendor sites, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of accounting software. Key responsibilities include:

- Processing electronically billed invoices for assigned attorneys or clients.
- Setting up clients transitioning to electronic billing across all vendor third-party sites and Aderant eBillingHub.
- Monitoring the validation, approval, reductions, and rejections of e-billed invoices to ensure full payment.
- Updating e-billing data, such as budgets, rates, timekeepers, and disbursement mapping.
- Assisting in the implementation of enhancements and troubleshooting electronic billing issues.
- Communicating e-billing guidelines and updates to the billing team and ensuring compliance with all e-billing guidelines.
- Assisting with Aderant eBillingHub setup for tracking client requirements.
- Supporting the collection team with follow-up on aged electronically submitted invoices, including researching short-paid invoices.
- Providing training on Prebill Manager to attorneys/assistants.
- Meeting with attorneys/assistants to discuss electronic billing processes as needed.
- Assisting with testing and training for Aderant and Prebill Manager upgrades and related software.
- Attending vendor software user group meetings.
- Performing additional duties and tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to supporting the firm's overall objectives.

Education and Experience Information:
- Requires 3+ years of hands-on E-billing experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
- Familiarity with legal billing software such as Aderant, eBillingHub, Elite Enterprise, etc., with advanced proficiency strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with E-Billing vendor sites such as T360, CounselLink, Legal Tracker, Collaborati, and Passport is strongly preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting software and basic accounting principles is required.
- Analytical skills to apply knowledge to practical situations and the ability to foresee problems and effect solutions are necessary.
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment, successfully adapting to changing priorities and work demands with consistently high production.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills are required.
- Above-average typing and ten key skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products (Outlook, Word, and Excel), are required.
- Good organizational and planning skills to prioritize and complete assigned bills accurately and in a timely manner, as well as to assess, recommend, and implement improved work procedures.
- Good interpersonal/communication skills are required to work effectively with personnel at all levels within the firm.
- Dependability and a willingness to meet the requirements of the position, accepting a wide variety of assignments with a positive attitude and team spirit, are required.
- Absolute confidentiality and discretion are required.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position in Colorado is - per hour. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance. The law firm considers a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market, and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.

Work Environment:
This position operates within a professional office atmosphere, involving sedentary work that primarily entails sitting or standing for prolonged periods.
