Job Title: Trial Paralegal - Personal Injury Litigation
Job Responsibilities:
- Own the trial calendar by tracking every deadline from complaint through verdict, ensuring nothing is missed between discovery cutoff and closing argument.
- Engineer the record by drafting and finalizing discovery requests, deposition outlines, motions in limine, exhibit lists, jury instructions, and witness subpoenas with precision.
- Build trial-ready files by assembling and maintaining digital and physical trial binders, deposition digests, medical chronologies, and demonstratives for quick access to facts, exhibits, or impeachment clips.
- Command logistics by coordinating expert inspections, focus groups, mock juries, video production, courtroom technology, and war-room setup.
- Anticipate the opposition by analyzing defense disclosures, spotting evidentiary weaknesses, and recommending counter-moves to confine the other side before voir dire.
- Support in the arena by sitting second-chair at trial, managing real-time exhibits, interfacing with court personnel, and conducting rapid-fire research when unexpected situations arise.
- Communicate relentlessly to keep clients, adjusters, experts, and treating physicians synchronized, ensuring that testimony and demonstratives are delivered effectively.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 3 years dedicated to preparing personal-injury cases for jury trial, with verdict experience strongly preferred.
- Mastery of Michigan and federal discovery rules, ESI protocols, and trial procedures.
- Proficiency with trial software and advanced document-management platforms.
- A track record of driving high-stakes dockets forward under tight timelines.
- Ability to maintain poise under pressure, with the stamina and flexibility to work intensively as trial dates approach.
- Clear and confident writing skills, with an instinct to anticipate opposing counsel's moves.
Salary Information:
- Competitive salary commensurate with trial experience, starting from $50, per year.

- This is a full-time, in-office position in Detroit, MI.
