Job Title: Business Immigration Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
As a Business Immigration Analyst, you will be part of the national Business Immigration and Global Mobility practice at the law firm. Your primary responsibilities include supporting client accounts by preparing and filing employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas. These visas include, but are not limited to, H-1Bs, L-1s, TNs, PERMs, Preference Petitions, and Adjustment of Status Applications. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with the Business Immigration Group’s attorneys, account managers, and other team members. Key duties involve:
- Multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Efficiently navigating complex technology platforms
- Communicating effectively in writing and verbally, suitable for the audience such as clients, governmental agencies, and internal and external resources
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to problems
- Demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills
- Tracking and entering billable and non-billable time daily into the firm’s timekeeping system, with an annual billable hours requirement of 1700
Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for the position of Business Immigration Analyst, candidates need:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of Business Immigration related experience or demonstrated interest in Business Immigration
- A strong desire to work in a team-oriented environment to meet client objectives related to their foreign national employees
- Strong writing skills and keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in client communication, teamwork, and the firm's technology platform
Salary Information:
The salary range for the Business Immigration Analyst role is $60,000 to $69,000 annually, based on a 40-hour work week. This range is applicable for jobs performed in Los Angeles, CA. The pay within this salary range will be based on various factors, including relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. The role is eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay. The law firm offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
