Responsibilities:
- Perform partner level compliance review and tax return signoff
- Handle client consultations on planning opportunities and changes in tax law
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Supervise engagements and special projects
- Oversee all aspects of client engagement
- Train and evaluate advanced level staff
- Coach and mentor staff to assist in the growth of the tax function
- Stay up-to-date on new tax issues and general business trends
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
- CPA or JD certification
- 15+ years of progressive tax experience
- 2+ years as a Partner or Director at a public accounting firm
- 10+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience working with high net-worth individuals, family office clients, and closely-held businesses
- Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
- Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business
