Job Title: Conflicts Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
The Conflicts Analyst at the law firm is responsible for managing all conflicts-related functions during the initial intake of new clients and matters, as well as producing conflict results reports. This role involves assisting in the coordination and documentation necessary to resolve potential conflicts of interest. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing conflict searches for new client and matter requests promptly.
- Conducting detailed corporate research using various resources, including analysis of recent press releases and historical entity references.
- Reviewing Intapp Open workflow requests to ensure key information is included for appropriate processing.
- Analyzing Conflict Results Reports to identify genuine potential conflicts based on established team guidelines.
- Conducting research to determine the materiality of potential conflicts when necessary.
- Researching the Conflicts Database and other firm documents to ensure appropriate conflict resolution.
- Communicating with appropriate stakeholders to clear potential conflicts.
- Maintaining regular communication with the Manager regarding the resolution of potential conflicts or areas of concern.
- Documenting and organizing information regarding the resolution of potential conflicts.
- Maintaining telephone and personal contact with attorneys and staff on conflict of interest matters.
- Tracking the status of outstanding or ongoing Work Flow requests.
- Handling special projects assigned by the Director of Conflicts Operations and Conflicts Managers.
Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for a 2- or 4-year degree. Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a professional services environment. Previous experience with Intapp is required. The role demands the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks, perform effectively with moderate supervision, interact professionally, and respond to requests requiring analysis and decision-making for new client/matter processing.
Salary Information:
Compensation for the Conflicts Analyst position at the law firm is commensurate with skill and experience, varying based on location and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are:
- State of California: $53,000 - $102,000
- State of Colorado: $49,000 - $88,000
- State of Illinois: $48,000 - $94,000
- State of Massachusetts: $53,000 - $102,000
- State of Maryland: $52,000 - $78,000
- State of Minnesota: $53,000 - $88,000
- Jersey City, NJ: $58,000 - $105,000
- State of New York: $50,000 - $107,000
- State of Vermont: $59,000 - $113,000
- State of Washington: $52,000 - $98,000
- Washington, .: $69,000 - $101,000
These salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, which is non-guaranteed and dependent upon individual and firm performance.
